Dr. Bernstein treats dentistry as both an art and a science. He focuses on being honest, compassionate, and gentle, while making evidence-based decisions to provide excellent clinical results.

Dr. Bernstein attended the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, where he graduated with Highest Distinction. His post-doctoral training included a residency in general dentistry at the San Francisco Veterans Administration Medical Center. He then worked at a cosmetic dental office in Manhattan for two years before deciding to specialize. He simultaneously attended the Manhattan Veterans Affairs Hospital and New York University to earn his Certificate in Prosthodontics. During this time, Dr. Bernstein served as the Chief Resident of the dental clinic.

Currently, Dr. Bernstein divides his time between providing care to his patients in private practice and teaching general dentistry and prosthodontics at the Manhattan Veterans Affairs Hospital.
